Permissions in FeedComp are managed through PULSE and are included as part of the FeedComp app permissions. These permissions control what users can view, edit, and manage within FeedComp, such as feedings, recipes, ingredients, inventory, pens, schedules, reports, and shared files.
By default, all FeedComp users are allowed to complete feedings. Additional permissions can be assigned to grant access to configuration, editing, reporting, batch feedings, and other administrative or management tasks, depending on a user’s role and responsibilities.
Permissions in FeedComp are controlled by PULSE and are included in PULSE Feed Permissions.
TIP: All FeedComp App users are allowed to complete Feedings by default.
Permissions
- Feed Configuration: Allows you to edit recipes and ingredients, as well as information on feed vendors, equipment/devices, pens, and users.
- Feed File Download: Allows you to download and view history details for Feed shared files.
- Feed File Upload: Allows you to upload Feed shared files. Users may delete files they uploaded, but need File Management permission to delete other files.

Feed Inventory Write: Allows you to edit Feed inventory data.
- Feed Read: Allows you to view data, recipes, equipment, devices, and reports.
- Feed Write: Allows you to edit Location DM%, as well as ingredients, recipes, and alternate recipes.
- Pen Management: Allows you to edit the feed details for each pen location.
