Connect Summit Promotion

Terms and Conditions:

If winner has already registered for the Connect Conference prior to entering the Promo, Valley Agricultural Software, Inc. (“VAS”) will refund participant their registration fee (up to $1,499 for solo registration, $2,098 for registration + companion). If winner has pre-registered for Connect without a companion, VAS will refund the solo registration and extend the opportunity for winner to register a companion.

Entries must be made by April 14, 2022, at 11:59 CST. After this date no further entries to the giveaway will be permitted.

Should winner refuse companion registration, companion prize value will not be awarded.  

Prize is non-refundable, non-transferrable, and cannot be traded or negotiated for cash or additional prizes.

If winner does not register within 72 hours of notification, they will forfeit their prize.  If the prize is forfeited by this original winner, VAS reserves the right to withdraw the prize from them and a new winner will be chosen. The new winner will have 24 hours from the direct message time and date to also claim the prize. If they do not claim the prize within the time frame, the process will continue, and a new winner will be chosen.

By entering the Connect Summit Social Promo (“Promo”), an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. To enter this giveaway or sweepstakes promoted by VAS, there is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

VAS employees and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of employees are not eligible to participate in the contests.

Must be 18 years old or older to enter and win.

Entrants must enter on Facebook to be eligible to win prize(s).

One (1) entry per person.

All steps listed within the Rules of Engagement must be followed to be eligible to win. When asked to “react” to a post as a contest rule, like, love, laugh or wow options on Facebook are acceptable and considered to be a “reaction”.

Winners are chosen randomly using Osortoo, and other electronic software and are also chosen based on the rules, terms and conditions of the contest being followed.

VAS will message the winner directly on contest social media platform and tag them in the comments section of the original post.

Winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network.

By participating in this sweepstakes or contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Terms and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this sweepstakes or contest.

By participating, entrants hereby release and agree to hold VAS and its affiliates harmless, and each of their directors, employees, officers, and agents, including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.

VAS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promo should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond VAS’ control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the contest. In such case, VAS may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by VAS. VAS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. VAS has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the contest, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses or accounts; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by contest rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, VAS reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

VAS does not encourage and shall have no liability for the submission of any content (“Third Party Content”) to the Connect Summit Facebook Page (“Page”) which infringes the rights of any third party, violates any law or other legal authority, is false and/or misleading in any manner or fails to comply with Facebook’s Terms and Conditions. By viewing the Page, you acknowledge that any content uploaded by anyone other than VAS is the creation/views/responsibility of the submitter, and not VAS.
