Use the Parlor Speed report to review and analyze parlor speed by parlor, date, and shift. This information can help you review your management strategies to improve efficiencies for specific parlors, shifts, or pens.

Options to search and filter the Parlor Speed report are available at the top of the page. Follow the guidelines below when working with the Parlor Speed report:

Click Filters at the top left of the page to limit the data that is displayed. The Filters side panel opens.

Use the Date From and Date To filters to only view data from that range.

Select a Parlor to limit the report to a specific parlor.

Click the Clear Filters option to clear all of the filters currently applied.

Click the green Export as CSV button Inline image at the top right of the page to save the data as a CSV file. Or, click Print to send your parlor data to the printer. If you applied filter(s), the data will print or export with the current filter(s) applied.

An overall summary is displayed in a GRAY bar at the top left of the page based on the current Filters.

Fastest Turn: The fastest turn of the parlor.

Avg Time per Turn: The average amount of time recorded for all turns of the parlor.

Avg Cows per Hour: The average number of cows milked per hour.

Avg Parlor Visit Time: Average time from parlor entry to departure per cow, including any multiple turns. This time also includes all animal prep time, post-dipping, and gate sorting activities as cows leave the parlor.

Fastest Turn/Avg Parlor Visit: Compares the fastest turn of the parlor to the average parlor visit time per cow. The higher the percentage, the more efficiently your cows are making their way through the parlor. If you notice this value decreasing, you may want to evaluate animal prep routines, milking equipment attachment methods, and other parlor activities for potential improvement opportunities.

Parlor speed is also summarized in a table below the GRAY bar.

Parlor Details: Details about the parlor are displayed at the top of the page.

Parlor Speed Summary: An overall summary is displayed in a GRAY bar at the top left of the page based on the current Filters.

Parlor Speed by Day: Click the down arrow to expand a row and parlor speed details for a specific day.
