This release includes a variety of enhancements and bug fixes. Expand the sections below to learn more:
- App branding update: The Pocket CowCard app icon has been refreshed with an updated look. You will notice “CowCard” displayed on the icon instead of “PCC”. The app experience and functionality remain the same.

- Days in Milk (DIM) warning for BRED events: The app now displays a warning message if you attempt to breed an animal before they reach the minimum Days in Milk (DIM). If the minimum DIM is set below 40 days, the app warns you if you try to breed an animal before 50 DIM. The default setting for most dairies is set to less than 40 days, but you can check or update this setting in DairyComp: enter SETUP in the command line, open the Parameters tab, and edit the value for Minimum DIM else warning in BRED.

- Improved QUAD picker screen position: Improved the Protocols user interface, so the QUAD picker screen is now below the items during Event Entry. (Pocket CowCard-1604)
- Google certification for side loading: The app is now Google-certified for side loading, improving install reliability. (Pocket CowCard-1725)
- Added support for Item Type #174 (ET data): Pocket CowCard now supports Item Type #174 for embryo transfer data across all 4 operands (Return Y/N if animal is pregnant with ET, Return conception PULSE Embryo ID, Return ET Donor Dam Reg, and Return ET Donor Dam ID). - Improved hospital protocol validation: The green Accept button is now disabled until all required protocol data is entered, helping prevent incomplete submissions. (Pocket CowCard-1819)
- FRESH event picklist improvements: We added multiple improvements for FRESH event entry:
- Added validation when a cow has a future MKDAT and a PEN is required.
- Enabled non-picklist Expert Commands for automated entry in Forms 9 and 10.
- Improved handling of quoted values in batch inputs.

- Vet list validation improvements: If you create a vet lists in DairyComp, always include VC>0 in the FOR (conditions) to ensure that only animals that need to be checked are included in the list. To learn more about creating vet lists, see Generate Vet Lists.
If you see an animal that needs to be added during vet check, you can add an animal to the vet list if they do not have a vet code greater than 0. On any vet list, tap the red + button on the bottom right side to enter animal details:

- Updated translations: Added and updated translations for new key phrases. (Pocket CowCard-1848)
- Updated Android API level: Raised API level to 35 to improve install compatibility. Previously, newer Android devices may have shown a warning that the app was unsafe to install. (Pocket CowCard-1849, Pocket CowCard-1913)
- Grid view usability fix: Resolved an issue where the blue arrow blocked access to animal records when the list was not scrollable. (Pocket CowCard-1850)
- Improved keypad behavior: Prevented the “Cow Not Found” sound from playing when pressing 0 and Enter in a worklist. (Pocket CowCard-1870)
- Merged lists filter: Added the ability to filter by merged worklists in the Breeding Grid. (Pocket CowCard-1872)
- Mobile sound file management: Added play and delete options in the Test Audio section to simplify sound file management. (Pocket CowCard-1874)
- Technician number display update: Technician numbers above 255 now display correctly on the Events page. (Pocket CowCard-1880)
- Milk withdrawal (MKDAT) warnings: Added warnings when moving animals with an active milk withdrawal into non-hospital milking pens and removed warnings when moving animals between hospital pens. (Pocket CowCard-1889, Pocket CowCard-1881)
- Keyboard behavior improvement: The keyboard now remains open after tapping an ID to view a CowCard. (Pocket CowCard-1806)
- Transaction review stability: Improved performance when reviewing large transaction lists by loading transactions individually to prevent crashes. (Pocket CowCard-1869)
- Animal ID display fix: Resolved an issue where IDs were not visible when editing animals added to a herd from a list. (Pocket CowCard-1871)
- Protocol day detail display: Fixed an issue where only one protocol day detail line displayed instead of all configured lines. (Pocket CowCard-1883)
- Memory optimization for merged lists: Improved memory handling when merging multiple lists to reduce “Out of Memory” errors. (Pocket CowCard-1877)
