Release Date: October 1, 2026
DairyComp version 26.9 contains various bug fixes, customer-requested enhancements, and improvements.
Expand the topics below to learn more about the updates in this release:
- Accurate parlor visit tracking: Resolved an issue where last parlor visit items (LPVD and LPVS) were incorrectly updated for animals not included in a milk import.
- Enhanced DairyComp Client task stability: Scheduled task tables now remain persistent during power interruptions, internet outages, or system updates. This improvement maintains consistent automated workflows and prevents data loss during unexpected system restarts.
- Expanded sexed beef semen identification: DairyComp now supports male beef sexed semen (type Q) for stud codes 689 and 651. This update provides more precise breeding records and maintains reporting accuracy for producers using these Select Sires and STgenetics bulls.
- Reliable treatment withhold tracking: Resolved an issue where withhold dates could be incorrectly overwritten with shorter dates when transactions were sent from a DairyComp Client to the Server.
- Improved international stability: Resolved an update error for Italian users and fixed a command line freeze for DairyComp Consultant users.
- Enhanced protocol reporting: The EGRAPH and EVENTS reports now correctly display and legend protocols with IDs greater than 255.
- Accurate lactation records: Resolved an issue where entering a FRESH event with a pregnancy adjustment incorrectly placed a BORN event in the previous lactation record.
- Reliable localized reporting: Fixed an issue in Russian and Chinese cowfiles that prevented users from drilling into report totals or caused item names to appear mismatched.
- Streamlined sire creation: Resolved a bug during BRED event entry that prevented the sire creation window from closing properly.
- BCMS: The ScotEID export now includes sire registration IDs, and Farm Unit support has expanded to accommodate up to 15 premises. These updates support larger multi-site operations and maintain seamless regulatory compliance for UK producers.
- HeiferPro: Resolved an issue where importing files caused duplicate animal records to appear on DairyComp Client reports.
- Germany: Resolved an issue where automatically recorded MOVE events incorrectly displayed protocol numbers instead of pen details.
- Advanced CowCare treatment visibility: You can now track and display multiple instances of the same treatment protocol within a single day. This enhancement provides better visibility into health events and supports more accurate drug inventory management.
