If you accidentally initiate the transfer of the wrong animal, you can restore it before the receiving dairy or farm accepts it.

1. Go to [DairyComp/MyDC](docId\:ezFEjZDkBcfov-b69AUPR) > [Animals](docId\:ezFEjZDkBcfov-b69AUPR) > **Transferred Animals > Sent Animals **tab.
2. Click the receiver herdcode for the correct transfer date to view the list of pending animals.   
3. Click **Restore** to return the animal to your herd. The Status of that animal's transfer is set to **Cancelled**.

🗒️ **NOTE:** If the receiving dairy has already accepted the transfer, the Restore option is no longer available. Contact the destination dairy or farm if a new transfer needs to be initiated from their side.
