### Required Permissions

Only users who are assigned to a Role with Herd Write permissions can use this feature.If your account only has Herd Read permissions, you will **not** be able to use this feature.

The ability to edit and customize select fields may also depend on which version of PULSE you are using (DC Unlimited or MyDC). See the topics below to learn more:

**NOTE: **Only events from the current lactation can be deleted.

1. On the animal's CowCard, go to the Overview tab or the Events tab.
2. Click on the desired event to view its details in a side panel.
3. Click the delete icon :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/JpEgOUznW5xYToykGxoXQ_trashcan-blue-outline-on-white.png" alt caption size="10" width="25" height="25"} in the upper right corner, then click **Delete** in the pop-up confirmation window to complete the deletion.
