### Required Permissions

Only users who are assigned to a Role with Herd Configuration permissions can use this feature. See [Edit Dairy User Permissions](docId\:gW6ZX7tfC4IhSbrtOzc_V) and [Manage Dairy Roles](docId:9YjUkdzFab0KkO1HW0Mxj) for more information.

On the [Alert Groups](docId\:xg8W4ZjYH7CANXzRTVG7M) page, you can easily delete an alert group by clicking on an alert group to open a side panel that displays the alert group details.

Click the delete button :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/pe9wRApPU8Udw9hr6gF_w_trashcan-gray-on-white22x25.png" alt caption size="10" width="22" height="25"} in the upper right corner of the side panel, and then click the **Yes, Delete** button in the pop-up confirmation window to complete the deletion.

**NOTE: **Any changes made to an alert group affect all scheduled occurrences of the alert group.

The [Alert Groups](docId\:xg8W4ZjYH7CANXzRTVG7M) page is displayed and PULSE displays a message indicating that the alert group was deleted.
