## Choose Equipment to Connect to a Scale

**IMPORTANT: **This feature is only available when you’re using this device for feeding. If you change your mind about using a device for feeding, [log out of the app](docId\:O_4bu3UYnSnNdNscBO0Kx) and select **Yes** or **No** when asked if the device will be used for feeding.

1. Select the **Equipment** to connect.
2. Tap **Connect to Scale** and select the scale to connect. After a scale is connected to your mobile device, the Bluetooth icon :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/LnYaE3tdg56PgPS3KptZS_bluetoothconnected20x25.png" alt caption size="10" width="20" height="25"} displays at the top left of each screen in the FeedComp App. The Switch Scale button also becomes available and allows you to connect to a different scale if needed.

## Switch to Another Dairy

**IMPORTANT: **This feature is only available when you’re **not** using this device for feeding. If you change your mind about using a device for feeding, [log out of the app](docId\:O_4bu3UYnSnNdNscBO0Kx) and select **Yes** or **No** when asked if the device will be used for feeding.

The current dairy selected is displayed in **Dairy Name**. If you are not using this device for feeding, you can tap Switch Dairy to switch to another dairy, and then tap `Save` at the bottom of the screen.

## Enable Overnight Loads

Before using overnight loads in the FeedComp app, you must enable them for your farm. Tap your user photo in the top right of any screen and tap :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/uBdjhhxuzdciJIz9vj_JA_settingsoutlined25x25.png" alt caption size="10" width="25" height="25"}**  Settings**. Locate the **Overnight Load** option about midway down the page, and toggle the option **ON**.

See [Use Overnight Loads](docId:8hCxBUb1xfseg6kqHmsN2) for instructions on creating an overnight load during the loading process and then continuing it the next day.

🗒️ **NOTE:** Once you start an [overnight load](docId\:Hzg7MbZ-i-esfiu9MMtLN), be aware that the **equipment stays locked** to the overnight load until it’s finished or cancelled. This means that you **cannot use the same equipment to complete any other feedings** until the overnight load is completed. If you connect to and attempt to feed using equipment containing an overnight load, an overnight load notification with a red alert icon :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/j741gC25-S0qpJsYOawD5_alert-triangle-red.png" alt caption size="10" width="22" height="20"} displays. 

If you started an overnight load by mistake, you can [cancel or complete an overnight load](docId:8hCxBUb1xfseg6kqHmsN2) on the same day.

## View Units of Measure 

FeedComp units of measure are defined in PULSE and are synced to the mobile app. To check the unit of measurement used by the FeedComp mobile app, go to :inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/3h8pSJcGUXEi4HGCCYPTA/uBdjhhxuzdciJIz9vj_JA_settingsoutlined25x25.png" alt caption size="10" width="25" height="25"}**  Settings **and locate the gray **Units **block toward the bottom of the page. 

- **Imperial System** displays units in Pounds, Gallons, Fahrenheit, and Ounces.
- **Metric System** displays units in Kilograms, Liters, Celsius, and Milligrams.

To change the unit of measure, sign into PULSE and edit the setting in the [Dairy Info](docId\:uM11ovtjCE3ar8QN7O4P2) page.

## Log out of Your User Profile

If you change your mind about using a device for feeding, [log out of the app](docId\:O_4bu3UYnSnNdNscBO0Kx) and select **Yes** or **No** when asked if the device will be used for feeding. Tap `Log out of Profile` at the bottom of the screen to log your user profile out of this device. The next person who opens FeedComp on this device will be prompted to sign in with their user profile.
