<font color="#67854E">**Question**</font>: When I click Sire items on my CowCard, I can only view my Sire item information. How can I edit the Sire items?

<font color="#67854E">**Answer**</font>: By default, editing Sire items is not enabled in DairyComp because sire information usually doesn't change. However, you can use the **SETUP** window to enable editing:

1. Enter **SETUP** in the command line and press **Enter** to view the **SETUP** window (see example in the next step).
2. Go to the **Preferences** tab, and in the **CowCard Sire Click** field, select **Edit Sire Item**.

3. Click **OK** in the upper right corner to save your changes.
   You should now be able to edit your Sire items in your CowCards.
