Common uses include: - Vet Check list - Hospital list - Vaccine list - Cow movements - Genomic sampling - Batch entries (PCC only) ## Types of Mobile Solutions 1. **Pocket CowCard (PCC)**: - The original mobile device solution. - Communicates with a DairyComp Server or DairyComp Client (wi-fi required). - Available only with Android devices. - Pairs with an RFID reader (wand) for scanning cows. - Allows for Expert Batch entries (all cows get the same entry). 2. **DC on Mobile**: - Communicates with VAS PULSE Platform. - Available with Android and iOS devices. - VAS PULSE Platform is required. - Pairs with an RFID reader (wand) for scanning cows. ## Recommended Hardware Current recommended devices change over time as new Android and iOS updates are released, and as older versions are no longer supported.
