<font color="#67854E">**Question**</font>: How can I delete a specific test day from animal records?

<font color="#67854E">**Answer**</font>: You can easily delete a test day from all of the animal records it appears on by following the procedure below:

1. As a precaution, enter `SAVE\F` in the command line to create a backup file of your DairyComp installation.
2. In the command line, enter `CHKFILE\10` to display an Enter Date window (see example in next step).
3. Enter the test date to delete, then click **OK:**

The system confirms the total number of animal records from which the test date was deleted.

**TIP:&#x20;**&#x46;or a test date that is missing (e.g., it did not upload correctly to DairyComp), it may be necessary to first remove the most recent test day, then load the missing test day and reload the test day you removed.
