Items are specific facts or data points about the animal (like its breed or the somatic cell count of its milk) and are classified as either Stored or Calculated:

- <font color="#67854E">**Stored items**</font> are data points that don't rely on events or other items (like an animal's birth date) and can be manually entered or changed.
- <font color="#67854E">**Calculated items** </font>(like the somatic cell count) are automatically derived from events or items and require little-to-no user input.

In the CowCard, the **Items1** and **Items2** tabs each display up to 64 items. The default layout of each tab organizes the items into four columns of 16; however, you can edit the items that are displayed, as well as their order, in each tab:
